Georgia Chapter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA)
2021 Designs of Distinction Awards
Medium Kitchen Winner
Atlanta, Georgia —The Designs of Distinction competition brings together Georiga designers to showcase projects following the parameters set by the National Kitchen & Bath Association. Becky Sue Becker, owner and principal designer of Designs by BSB, has won the Medium Kitchen. The NKBA announced the win at the awards gala held at Summerour Studio in Atlanta, Georgia, on October 21, 2021.
Becky Sue Becker has continually exhibited a quality of service and innovative, award-winning design solutions. For example, the original kitchen layout did not function well with the home’s flow; the functionality and traffic flow of the space was so confining. Now it is airy. It flows in the way you walk and in design, like the touches of the brass throughout the kitchen and nook area.
This home, located in the Waterford Township subdivision of Snellville, Georgia, was remodeled to replace the kitchen’s dated oak cabinetry with a soft white painted finish, complimenting it on a beautiful stage of newly finished oak floors. Additionally, the adjoining living room was refreshed with paint, new light fixtures, and furniture.
Based out of Lilburn, Georgia, a highly respected remodeling company and valued trade partner of Designs by BSB, McCullough Construction implemented this transformative project. Their expertise was vital in achieving a kitchen for this family to love where they live.
