About Us

It brings me joy to unveil innovative design concepts and product solutions to homeowners, showing them possibilities they never imagined.

For over 35 years, I’ve relished the unique challenges of my clients’ goals. By delving into their lifestyle, storage needs, budget, and design preferences, I craft a plan that optimizes space, functions efficiently, and mirrors their personal style. My presentations are visually immersive, empowering you to make the best choice. Moreover, I take pleasure in introducing clients to the most cutting-edge solutions within their resources.

The foundation of my career has rich roots as an apprentice under my father, a licensed residential contractor, and the owner of a kitchen/bath showroom. Growing up in the Midwest, he taught me the value and reward of hard work and dedication.

I learned how to draft plans with pencil and paper, about construction and mechanical systems, and sales on the job. My father groomed me from a young age to take over the family business at 20. I am forever grateful for my father taking me under his wing and for all the blessings God has granted me.

Why hire a certified designer?

Our home was built in 1979. Although we had updated some, there were some definite bottleneck areas and outdated styles. Hiring Designs by BSB was the best choice we’ve ever made in any of our zillion home projects. She has the best eye for putting things together. Her experience and expertise were incredible! Because this is what she does, she knows exactly where to purchase supplies, who to hire to do the work, etc. She thought through everything and had ideas we had not even considered!

Our kitchen is way better than anything we could have imagined! BeckySue not only completed the project on time, but she also stayed on budget. We absolutely love our new kitchen. The previous layout left us with a bottleneck and misused space.

What is caps?

The NAHB Remodelers™ Council, in collaboration with the AARP, NAHB Research Center, and NAHB Seniors Housing Council, developed the Certified Aging in Place Specialist program to provide comprehensive, practical, market-specific information about working with older and maturing adults to remodel their homes for aging-in-place.

A Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) trained in:

  • the unique needs of the older adult population
  • aging-in-place home modifications
  • common remodeling projects
  • solutions to common barriers

What is a CMKBD?

It is a Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer which is a designer with noteworthy experience and achievements in the kitchen and bath industry. Becky Sue exceeds the minimal prerequisites:

  • A CMKD must have extensive experience in the kitchen & bath industry along with an abundance of coursework and certification exams
  • Engaged in the industry at education seminars as an attendee or as a presenter or be a contributor in a publication
  • A shining example of a professional and takes the time to share the values of professionalism
  • Cultivates new trends, product innovations, and stays abreast of the best industry practices>
  • Invests additonal time as a mentor to the next generation of designers
